(Denver CO) - Citing a desire to increase its focus on emerging industries and bolster its approach to the Fortune 1000 market, Accruit today announced a significant realignment of its sales and business development organizations.

Scott Davis, formerly National Sales Manager, has been named Vice President of Business Development and will have responsibility for identifying and cultivating new lines of business within as-yet-untapped industries. Dan Belger, formerly Vice President and Director of Sales for Littleton, CO-based Arrow Industrial, Ltd., joins the 1031 Exchange services firm as Director of National Sales.

Belger brings to Accruit a substantial track record of success selling into large companies. With Arrow Industrial, as well as in previous stints with McKenzie/Scott Partners, MMS Incentives, Valhi, Loomis Fargo and Union Pacific, he demonstrated a knack for growing revenues and developing sales organizations. In his new role at Accruit he will be charged with expanding the company’s share in its established Equipment and Leasing markets and developing its Fortune 1000 client base.

Davis, who has anchored Accruit’s sales group for much of the past decade, says he’s excited about the new challenge. “Our customers can attest to the tremendous value that an Accruit exchange program represents, but our new market research has really surprised us. It’s amazing how little is known about 1031 exchanges in some industries, and I’m excited about the chance to explore opportunities with these companies.”

Belger, who assumes his new post on May 4, says he’s eager to get started. “I was attracted to Accruit by the quality of their people and the vast potential of their offering. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a business with this kind of up-side. They’ve done an outstanding job to this point, and I’m honored by the opportunity to be a part of their team as they launch this new growth initiative.”
