Steve Chacon is Accruit’s Director of Exchange Operations. In this role, he directs the company’s inside sales activities and works to strengthen Accruit’s primary single exchange channel relationships. Chacon brings a wealth of §1031 exchange experience to Accruit. For more than 10 years, he earned a reputation for providing skilled, practical guidance as a financial statement auditor, tax accountant, consultant, entrepreneur and recognized authority on complex like-kind exchanges (LKEs). Before joining Accruit, Chacon served as the CFO for a private water utility project and as an interim Finance Director for iMrkr, a social media startup. While there, he worked closely with the development team in redesigning iMrkr’s technology offering mix and go-to market strategy. Prior to his experience as an entrepreneur, he oversaw a large and complex reverse exchange department with a top tier §1031 exchange provider. Steve’s passion lies in the development and implementation of business strategy. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Emphasis from the University of Colorado.
