In the latest issue of Construction Executive, Accruit CEO Brent Abrahm lays out the value of 1031 exchanges for construction firms looking to green their operations. These concerns are especially significant for businesses operating in California and other states preparing to adopt similarly strict emissions standards.

The Federation of Exchange Accommodators has announced that Accruit Sales Manager Kim Bicket has earned its coveted Certified Exchange Specialist® designation.
Accruit CEO Brent Abrahm notes that the qualifying exam "is a strenuous mental task that tests applicant knowledge of all the nuances of the 1031 code." In fact, individuals must have at least two years of experience in the industry before they're even allowed to apply for the exam, making it one of the most rigorous professional certification processes in the country.
