Steve Chacon has been named Accruit’s new Director of Exchange Operations. In this role, Chacon will direct the company’s inside sales activities and work to strengthen Accruit’s primary single exchange channel relationships.

To support this initiative, Client Service Managers Amber Morlan, CES^®, and Leticia Espinoza have been named Manager of Exchange Operations and Sales Manager/Exchange Operations, respectively. This group will report through the Sales organization and will also work closely with the Client Service group to assure strong service continuity for new and existing clients.

Chacon brings a wealth of §1031 exchange experience to Accruit. For more than 10 years, he earned a reputation for providing skilled, practical guidance as a financial statement auditor, tax accountant, consultant, entrepreneur and recognized authority on complex like-kind exchanges (LKEs).

Before joining Accruit, Chacon served as the CFO for a private water utility project and as an interim Finance Director for iMrkr, a social media startup. While there, he worked closely with the development team in redesigning iMrkr’s technology offering mix and go-to market strategy. Prior to his experience as an entrepreneur, he oversaw a large and complex reverse exchange department with a top tier §1031 exchange provider. Steve’s passion lies in the development/implementation of business strategy and is pleased to be a part of Accruit’s leadership team.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting Emphasis from the University of Colorado.
